There is not better way to celebrate your child’s first birthday (or any birthday for that matter) than with a fun cake smash. Just as you’re starting to see their real character emerge and their personality shine through, this is the perfect time to capture some of the cutest and most fun images you may ever get of your baby. It’s the perfect time to capture that cuteness forever.
At our studio in Salisbury our cake smashes are an event really not to be missed. Lasting up to 45 minutes they include everythig you need for the ultimte cake smash including a choice of sets, various outfit choices (if you dont want to bring you own) and a beautiful birhtday cake made to compliment the theme colour of the photoshoot.
It all starts of with a gorgeous portrait of your child before all of the mess gets spread around and then we move on to the fun part……..the smashing. This pary usually lasts between 20 – 30 minutes and basically keeps going until either the cake is destroyed or your little one has eaten their fill of cake and can’t eat a drop more. Tust us, you’d be surprised at how much a 1 year old can eat!
The total length is around 45 – 60 minutes and once this is finished you can take home any leaft over cake if there is any. We then select and prepare the best of the images for you and fully edit them. These are sent to you via a digital tranfsfer artound 4 days after the photoshoot.
