Natasha & Richard | Sandbanks Beach Wedding

Richard and Natasha first got in touch with us after being referred by a truly lovely couple whose wedding we shot nearly 3 years ago, Rebecca & Elliot. We had a little wait for them to come to the studio for their initial meeting as Richerd spends weeks on end away at sea as he is a sailor. I’m really not sure if that the right technical term for it though -seaman – skipper – pirate? who knows, but he’s a top bloke! What we did know was that their wedding was to be held at the stunning Haven hotel right at the end of Sandbanks facing the sea. We couldn’t think of a more perfect place to tie the knot and the sea was to play a really big part in their day as it also does in their lives.

We have already had endless photoshoots on this beach and the surrounding beaches so we knew we really were in for some truly special images if the weather allowed. And in mid May, it really is all about the weather. Watching the forecast in the week running up to the wedding the weather forecasts were here there and everywhere. From torrential rain to sunny with spotty showers, the weatherman predicted it all. When the big day finally arrived (and still with patchy of rain forecast) the sun just decided to put his hat on and it was absolutely glorious (but with a nip in the air).

The whole day from start to finish was perfect. From the wedding party photos on the beach to the couples relaxed shoot at sunset, the day was phenomenal. Every couple naturally enjoys their big day, but Natasha and Richard just seemed to lavish in the excitement that was their wedding day!

The newlyweds came to the studio last night to view their images and they loved them (that part always helps). I’ve been itching to share some of them with the world for weeks as I absolutely love them! If you want to see these photos in print then head out and buy the 2020 edition of Bride magazine as this wedding was featured in it.

Hope you love the photos.
